From the Ground Up: Creating Real Homes for Vernon’s Seniors.
With your generous gift, Vernon Homes is advancing the model of care for seniors in Vernon, Vermont—five innovative Green House Homes designed to provide skilled nursing care for up to 60 residents. Instead of a large, institutional facility, each of these five homes will welcome up to 12 residents in private rooms with private baths, along with shared hearth-style living rooms, open kitchens and dining areas, cozy common spaces, and inviting outdoor areas.
